Services for Myrtle Peel, 90 of Post will be at 2:30PM Tuesday at Post Church of Christ with Homer Jones officiating and Javid Joiner and David Hooten assisting. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral HOme of POst. She died Sunday, Sept 22, 2002. She was born Sept 11, 1912 in Gonzales Co. She married EE Peel on Dec 24, 1932 in Yoakum Co. He died Jan 6, 1988. She worked for Graham Chapel School and the Post Independant School District for 20 years. She was a member of the Graham Chapel Church of Christ, which she attended for 67 years. She also was preceded in death by a daughter Margaret Ann, on June 14, 1954 and a grandson on June 26, 1976. Survivors include 3 daughters, Jeanie Byrd of Post, Rhea James of Plainview and Beth Hooten of Lubbock, a sister Eula Mae Hedrick of Lubbock a brother Hal Jones of Jal NM, 8 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
