  Brenda Joyce Spruce, 74, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017. She was born in San Angelo, Texas, on July 10, 1943. Brenda graduated from San Angelo Central High School. She was married to David Spruce in 1975 and they spent ten blissful years together until his passing in 1985. She had a career as a self-employed seamstress for more than forty years. She enjoyed sewing, working in the garden, cooking, decorating and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brenda is survived by her children, Connie Pearson of Houston, Texas, Debbie Langston of Lake Worth, Florida, Dewayne and wife Bunny Housewright of San Angelo, Texas, Randy Spruce of San Angelo, Texas and Brandy Spruce of San Angelo, Texas. She also leaves to cherish her memories eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews and relatives. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Spruce; daughter Lisa Pearson; her parents, Henry and Clara Phinney Bass; and her sisters, Kay Nichols and Linda Wilson.
