    • SAULNIER, Julienne Isabelle - 96, Yarmouth, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, in Villa Acadienne, Meteghan. Born in Lower West Pubnico, she was a daughter of the late Dennis Armand and Marie Elizabeth (d'Eon) d'Entremont. She will always be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, strong in her faith, a tireless volunteer to her church and community. She was an active member of the Saint Ambrose Altar Society, the Catholic Women's League, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and will be fondly remembered for her kitchen duties. She worked as a seamstress for the Thistle Knit and Bonda Textiles. She is survived by her sons, Paul (Marie-Catherine) Saulnier, West Pubnico; Rev. Gerald Saulnier, Middleton; daughters, Jean (Neil) Smith, Arcadia; Jeanette (Donald) Southern, Lower Sackville; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward L. "Eddie" Saulnier; five children who died in infancy; sisters, Evangeline (in infancy), Ida, Evangeline, Elizabeth, Mary, Jane Rose, Esther, Adeliza, Florence, Emiline; brothers, Albert, Theodore, and Augustin.
