      Margaret Warfield Fox, 90, of Westminster, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at University of Maryland Medical Center.

      Born April 6, 1922, in Glenwood, Howard County, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Dora Warfield.

      She enjoyed being a homemaker, worked at Spring Grove Hospital Center and retired from Springfield Hospital Center in 1987. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed Orioles baseball games.

      Surviving are children Stewart Fox Jr., of Westminster, and Dixie Lee Gauss and husband Christopher, of Finksburg; a granddaughter, Taylor McKenzie Gauss, of Finksburg; sisters Laura Tester, of West Friendship, Mazie Piccolo and husband Ralph, of Essex, Nannie Arnold and longtime friend Bob Bowman, of Mount Airy, and Ada Bohn, of Sykesville; niece and husband George Zepp; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

      She was predeceased by a brother, William A. Warfield Jr., who died in 1937.
