He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He also worked as a web press operator with the Howard County Times in Ellicott City until its closing. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Donna Bennett, Kenneth Beckett Jr. and Selena Grace Beckett, four grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, one sister and one brother. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Harry H. Witzke?s Family Funeral Home, 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Intombment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
