- Harry W. Taylor, 82, of Greenbush, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at his home.
Born May 23, 1944, to Harry W. and Ethel M. (Boring) Taylor in Livonia, MI, he was raised there. Harry served in the United States Navy from 1965 until 1971. On February 20, 1993, he married Janet Myers in Plymouth. Harry was a hard worker and a hard player. He owned and operated Taylor Roofing in Livonia. He moved to Greenbush in 1998. He was a member of the American Legion Oscoda Post, and of the Oscoda Eagles Club. He loved dancing and pitching horseshoes and was a past champion of the Frostbite Horseshoe Championship. Harry never met a stranger, he loved people.
Harry is survived by his wife, Janet, three children, Harry (Anna) Taylor Jr., Bill Taylor, and Julie Taylor, two stepsons, Michael Bobbish and Rex (Adi) Bobbish, nine grandchildren, Phineas Sutton, Oona Sutton, Rue Sutton, Harrison Taylor, Piper Taylor, Travis Baughman, Joshua Bobbish, Jillian (Zaid) Taamneh, and Jaynee Bobbish, four great grandchildren, Taylor and Serina Baughman and Sophia and Elijah Taamneh, his sister, Carol Cihocki, his brother, Bruce Taylor, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandchild, Jourdan Bobbish, his sister, Janet Adams, and his brother, Jerry Taylor.
