      Obituary, Howard County Times, 10 Jan 1985: "Lorenzo D. Johnson, 79, of Dayton died Dec. 20 at Surburban Hospital in Bethesda. He is survived by his wife H. Marie Johnson; daughters Betty Day of Dayton, Alverta Sullivan of Burtonsville and Thelma Pegg of Oklahoma; sons Edwin (Sonny) of Laurel, David (Petie) of Woodbine and Michael (Mickey) of Dayton; sisters Alice Overholtz of Westminster and Emma Howes of Dayton; brothers Joseph (Joe) and John (Jack) of Highland and Lloyd of Glen Burnie. Mr. Johnson was predeceased by his parents Howard and Bertha Johnson. Services were conducted Dec. 22 from the Harry H. Witzke Funeral Home in Ellicott City with theRev. Ray Morrow of the Four Square Gospel Church of Dayton officiating. Interment was in Providence Cemetery in Glenelg."
