Notes - Joyce Butler Sanford, 94, of Corpus Christi passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 24, 2025. She was born in San Antonio to Crague and Beatrice McHugo on October 5, 1930.
She met her husband Dan Sanford in high school and married at age 16. Her passions in life were caring for her family, being a pastor's wife, and loving her church family and all who entered.
Joyce was a lovely lady inside and out, she always had a smile on her face and kind words to say about others, she was Godly in giving of herself and spent her days in service to our Lord, she will be greatly missed!
Joyce is preceded by her parents, husband Rev. Dan Sanford, along with her two sons Daniel and Luke Sanford.
She leaves to cherish her memory of her grandchildren; Charles L. (Megan) Sanford, Leta (David) Popham, and Rebekah (Jessie) Burleson.
