  Birth: 1638 Norfolk, England Death: Nov. 3, 1732 Suffolk Suffolk City Virginia, USA One of the first of the name in America was Isaac Ricks or Rix, who was born in England in 1638, and a tradition exists that he came from England, landed in Jamestown, VA and settled in Warrasquycake, one of the 8 shires of Virginia, which in 1737 was changed to Isle of Wight County. Issac Ricks(Rix) was a Quaker and member of the Quaker Church, located at a place called Chuckatuck on the Nansemond River. Isaac married Kathryn or Kathren.
