Notes - Dr. Sharon Ann Oxford passed on July 21, 2016, surrounded by friends and family after a lengthy illness. She was born in Fort Worth, TX while her parents attended an OU-Texas game. After graduating from the University of Texas in Austin and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, she practiced medicine in San Antonio but soon settled down in Austin, Texas.
Her life was filled with family, friends, travel and her 36 year career as an anesthesiologist. Her positive, warm, generous and selfless nature made her the best doctor and amazing friend. She was beloved by all. Sharon was always on the go either working or on some adventure with family or friends traveling the world.
She is survived by her brother Jerry, sister in law Addie, nephew Danny, grandnephew Rory and other extended family.
