Pap will be remembered for never missing a sporting game, dance recital, Special Olympics, birthdays, graduations, etc,,, But most of all he will be remembered for his love and devotion to his wife, his girls, and most of all his, grandchildren who will cherish all the time he spent with each one of them. Whether it was riding bikes throughout the city, watching wrestling, getting icee's from Gus', to taking them to camp, or just playing around the yard. He'll be missed with his donut deliveries on Saturday mornings to catch up on all of us, to all of his stories he loved to tell, to junking any free time that he had, to him being the best Christmas shopper with the gifts he loved to give each one of us. Dad was one of the hardest, most dedicated worker ( 50 years with Sauer Bros.) and still had time to take us on weekend trips. Bobbish and sister-in-law of C. Scott Perkins of Clifton, Virginia, sister of Terry N. Bobbish and sister-in-law of Debra Bobbish of Westland, Michigan. She also is survived by her nephews, John R. Bobbish II and Ryan Murrell, and her niece, Brittany Murrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John R. Bobbish. Mary Ann graduated from Bentley High School, Livonia, Michigan, in the Class of 1963. | 1213 | On August 2, 2016, William O. Lynerd Sr. passed away peacefully in Fayetteville, NC. He was 93. Bill was born on July 24, 1923 to Orville and Myrtle Green Lynerd. He was a great husband and father and will be greatly missed by his children: Bobbie Calloway of Salisbury, MD, William Jr. (Betty Ann) of Chicago, IL, Ed (Pat) of Rock Hall, MD, Dave (Char) of Conowingo, MD, and Ken (Mindy) of Cary, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and one brother, Bob (Betty) of Waynesboro, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Emily Strobel Lynerd in 1995. Bill served his country in the Navy for 22 years, retiring as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, and also as a pipe-fitter at Chrysler Corp. He was a fine craftsman, could fix just about anything, loved to sing, play horseshoes and cribbage. | 1232 | Patricia Kamman, Our dear mother went home to be with our Lord on Monday, October 8th, 2012 surrounded by her 3 girls and friends. She was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi to A. H. (Pat) Riley and Phyllis Bodeker Riley. Patricia's love and devotion to God were an inspiration to all. Her wisdom and guidance as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother will be deeply missed. Pat had many interests that she followed. Her love of antiques brought her to Magazine Street, where she opened an antique store. Pat was a very talented artist. She worked in acrylic and water. She won many local art awards. The highest honor she received was from the D.A.R. Museum in Washington, D.C., where her painting was displayed. Pat was very involved with her church, St. Andrews the Apostle, in Algiers La. She belonged to their church group "The Sages" where she was president, from 2002 to 2003. Pat believed in volunteering and did so, in a quiet manner. She worked for many years with "United Churches of Algiers". She also volunteered for the "Museum of Modern Art" in New Orleans. One of her favorite things to do was to visit nursing homes. She was a lay minister for the Catholic Church and gave communion to the elderly. Pat graduated from Dominican High School. She went on to get her Dental Hygienist degree from The University of Chicago. She was the 13th registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Louisiana. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Carvol Ray (Ray) Kamman. They had 3 children: Ginger (Doug) Siemans, Peggy (Walt) Eldredge, and Kay (John) Mook. She married Cloys Murdock in Mission, and lived several places around Texas. They were found in Big Spring, Cross Plains, San Angelo, and Ft.Worth, as well as Mission. | 1239 | Peggy Joyce (Sage) Keck, was born June 17, 1961, and passed too soon on Sept. 19, 2016, at age 55. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Oaklawn Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Cumberland County High School class of 1979. She worked as a secretary most of her life. On Aug. 27, 1988, she married the love of her life, Tony Keck. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Gordon (Mel) Sage; mother, Betty June Gist Sage; and sister-in-law, Sharon Rose. Mrs. Keck is survived by her husband, Tony Keck; children, Cammie (Keck) Henry, Jacob Henry and Kyle Keck; sister, Patty (Sage) Dishman; brother, Richard Rose; niece, Ashley Rose; and nephews, Christopher Dishman, Curtis Dishman and Jason Rose. | 1240 | PEPPERELL ? A 23-year-old Pepperell woman died Monday from injuries she sustained when her car left the road and crashed into a utility pole Sunday night. Melissa D?Eon was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle that crashed in the vicinity of 24 Mill St. about 10 p.m., said Jacquelyn Goddard, a spokeswoman for the Middlesex District Attorney?s office. D?Eon?s 24th birthday would have been Friday. EMTs found her unconscious after the crash. She was flown to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, a press release from the DA?s office said. They?re not blown away by NJ?s offshore wind power plans No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which is under investigation by the Pepperell Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police, the press release said. D?Eon was a 2009 graduate of North Middlesex Regional High School. She played lacrosse and soccer for the school. Three basketball home games this week are dedicated to the star athlete with a moment of silence. Students at the high school who knew her are very upset, said Athletic Director James Bunnell. ?I know a lot of the kids knew her.? The North Middlesex Patriots Booster Club plans to send flowers for the wake and funeral on behalf of the Athletic Department, he said. Barbara Guerriero, a teacher at North Middlesex Regional High School, called D?Eon ?a great young lady.? ?When she was in the high school, she was a little spitfire, always smiling and happy-go-lucky,? she said. ?She could make you laugh in a split second. She was a friend to everyone and she always treated them as best friends. ?She was always at the gym lately, which was one of her passions. She touched the lives of everyone that knew her,? Guerriero said. ?I know I will never forget that little smiling face and vibrant spirit. Such a loss to this world, our school and our community.? D?Eon also attended Fitchburg State University from 2009 to 2012 where she was an exercise and sports- science major. She was not enrolled in the school at the time of her death. Her sudden passing was the topic of numerous social-media posts, including many on Facebook by people who knew her. On Melissa?s Facebook page, Stephanie Powers wrote, ?Heaven gained a strong angel but we all lost a good friend.? Lyn Giancotti wrote, ?I didn?t know Melissa D?Eon that worked at our favorite place to be ? Baileys Bar & Grille, but what I felt from her was warmth, kindness and a beautiful spirit whenever I came in contact with her!!!! | 1242 | Petty Officer 3rd Class Nicholas Wilson, 25, of Newark Valley, N.Y., died Feb. 12 as a result of an improvised explosive device in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Three, based in San Diego, Calif. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on 21 January 1998 under the Delayed Entry Program and upon his graduation from Newark Valley High School in June, he reported for recruit training in August of that year. After graduating from Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes on 20 October 1998, Nick completed Aviation Electronic Technician "A" school at NATTC Pensacola. Transferring to naval Diving and Salvage Training Center, 29 July 1999 he began the training required to become a US Navy EOD Diver. He completed the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Diving Course and Navy School Explosive Ordnance Disposal where he earned his "Crab" with class 00-040. From there he reported to EOD Mobile Unit THREE on 05 July 2001. Immediately upon checking in, Nick was assigned to Detachment ONE as the Det's Tactical Communicator. Quickly becoming a Helicopter Rope Suspension Master as well as graduating from Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) and Basic Airborne Courses, he deployed with the USS Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Readiness Group in 2002. Upon returning, he earned his Senior EOD qualification, changed his rate to Aviation Ordnanceman and joined Detachment FIVE SEVEN as an EOD Team Leader supporting Naval Special Warfare Squadron SEVEN Foxtrot Platoon. Deploying with NSWRON-7 for Operation Iraqi Freedom October 2003 to April 2004, Nick supported numerous direct action and VIP security missions. Assigned to Detachment NINE following his second deployment, Nick completed Military Free Fall School and was again designated an EOD Team Leader during his Det's deployment with II Marine Expeditionary Force in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, where he had personally rendered safe 170 Improvised Explosive Devices and supported 335 combat missions. During his service, Nick's awards include the Bronze Star (with Combat 'V'), Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Navy Battle "E" Ribbon, National Defense Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War On Terror Expeditionary Medal, Global War On Terror Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (3 awards), Expert Pistol and Expert Rifle Medal. Besides playing golf and riding his Harley, Nick adored his wife, Linda, whom he married while in the midst of EOD training on the 26th of February 2000. Behind his ever-present shades he was truly the quiet professional. The most challenging tasks he quickly mastered and he earned the admiration of all of us who worked with him. He could have been anything he wanted to be, but he loved being with his fellow EOD Techs. Nick is survived by his wife, Linda; his parents, Robert and Rachel (Tarbox) Wilson, Newark Valley; his brothers, Michael Wilson, Ga., Brian (Brandi) Wilson, Johnson City; and sister, Amber Wilson, Newark Valley.
